The music of Herbie Hancock and Joni Mitchell will be interpreted by two jazz greats, Kim Richmond and Kimberly Ford. “The Two Kims,” at the Three Lakes Center for the Arts on Thurs. Aug. 9 at 7:30pm.
Past member of the Stan Kenton, Louis Bellson and other famous orchestras, Richmond is a multi Grammy nominee. Ford has presented at Jazz Fests throughout America and is a featured vocalist on TV and film. Their band, “Both Sides,” featuring Will Brahm, reflects their real life bond through jazz.
Both artists are distinguished educators as well and the audience will feel the deep musical connection they share.
