Dorothy Vaughn, Mary Jackson, and Katherine Goble Johnson crossed all gender, race, and professional lines as the “mind” that calculated the launch and safe return of John Glenn. Mel Kolstad Collage & Printmaking Mel Kolstad is an artist, instructor and arts advocate who makes her home in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. As a printmaker, Mel’s prints incorporate many techniques such as intaglio, pressure prints, gel prints and linocuts.
