The Northwoods Jazz Group began in 2021 and it's membership is made up of non-professional musicians from the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Upper
Michigan. The group features the big band sound of 5 trumpets, 4 trombones, 5 saxophones, piano, bass, drums and a female vocalist.
Their mission is fostering greater interest in "Big Band Jazz" because that's what they love to play. And we all love to listen to the music of Broadway show tunes, big bands like Ellington, Basie, Kenton and more!
