2012 Summer Youth Art Programs
At the Beach In Three Lakes

Held at Maple Lake Pavilion Wednesdays from 10:30 to approximately 11:30. For more information, please call 715-546-2361. All classes are free to children. Donations are very much appreciated!

July 18th- Hemp Bead Weaving Necklaces

July 25th- Accordion Photo/Art Books

August 1st- Crappie Wood Cut Painting

August 15th- Soft Sculpture Doll Families

 

 

 

Summer 2012 Classes

From June 11-June 29th, we will be offering a series of classes to be held at the Center for the Arts (unless otherwise noted). We are firming up our schedule, and will be updating the entries with more information, such as costs and exact times, as soon as we receive it. If you are interested in signing up for any of these classes, please call the Gallery at 715-546-2299 and leave your name and phone number. Tentative schedule is as follows:

 

Monday, June 11th- Anne Appel (9:30-11:30)
(students tour her studio; lunch following)

Wednesday, June 13th- Ann Wichmann-Rug Twining (9:00-1:00)
(students bring wool, cotton, blue jeans material)

Thursday, June 14th- Betty Lutzka- Painted Boxes (1:00- ?)
(boxes to paint will be available for purchase)

Friday, June 15th- Ann Wichmann- Woven Place Mats (1:00-5:00)

Monday-Friday, June 18th-22nd- Linda Woiak- Paper Mache  (4:30-6:30pm)
(classes to be held at the Three Lakes Community Center)

Monday, June 18th- Patti Glassburn- Recycle Wool (9:00-1:00)

Tuesday, June 19th- Patti Glassburn- Recycle Wool (12:00-4:00)

Wednesday, June 20th- Jaroslava Sobiskova- Nuno Felting: Wool & Silk (9:00-1:00)
(class to be held at the Three Lakes Community Center)

Thursday, June 21st- Jaroslava Sobiskova- Yarn & Wool Scarves (9:00-1:00)

Friday, June 22nd- Patti Glassburn- Recycle Wool (9:00-1:00)

Monday, June 25th- Joel Hyland- Fruit & Veggie Sculpting (1:00-3:00pm and 6:30-8:30pm)
(students bring knife, melon scooper, and cutting board)

Tuesday, June 26th- Jeanette Payne- Metal Jewelry (2:00-?)

Wednesday, June 27th- Vicki Morley- Watercolor for Beginners (9:00-4:00)
(max class size is 10; class to be held at the Three Lakes Community Center)

Thursday, June 28th- Ann Wichmann- Rug Hooking (9:00-?)

Friday, June 29th- Jim Wallesverd- Wood Turning (time TBA)
